Adobe Consulting Services (ACS) provides a set of utilities that extend what AEM can do. These extra features help site administrators and content managers produce various reports, and the tools can be extended further for specific needs.

Installing ACS AEM Commons
- Download the ACS AEM Commons package from the project's GitHub releases page (
github.com/adobe-consulting-services/acs-aem-commons/releases). - Upload and install the package in AEM through Package Manager.
- Check the installation: go to
http://localhost:4502/aem/start.html> Tools > ACS AEM Commons > Page Compare.
The tool is then available at:
{localhost}:{port}/etc/acs-commons/page-compare.html
Example 1: Men vs Men
The same page is selected on both sides:
/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men
/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men
Example 2: Men vs Women
The /men page is on one side and the /women page on the other:
/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/women
/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/men
The report highlights every difference in content and structure between the two pages.
