How We Work

Who writes Adobe Experience Manager Tutorials, where the facts in our tutorials come from, how we use AI tools and how we correct mistakes.

Adobe Experience Manager Tutorials is a reference for people who build and run sites on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): developers, architects, administrators and authors. Pages carry the byline of the site's editors, not of an individual.

An archive, kept current

The site started in 2014 as a personal AEM blog, and its archive runs from the CQ5 days through AEM 6.x to AEM as a Cloud Service. The tutorials readers still rely on are being rewritten in our own words for the AEM versions in use today. Each rewritten page opens with a note that says when it was rewritten.

Sources

Before a page goes live, its product details are compared with Adobe's documentation on Experience League and with Adobe's repositories on GitHub: feature names, version numbers, endpoints, repository paths, code. Where Adobe's own pages disagree with each other, or leave a question open, the tutorial says so instead of picking an answer.

This site is independent of Adobe. Adobe, Adobe Experience Manager and related names are Adobe's trademarks.

Writing tools

Drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing software. Nothing is published until the facts in it have been compared with the sources above, and what appears on the site is an editorial decision.

Found a mistake?

AEM as a Cloud Service changes every month, so a page can go out of date. Send the page address and the problem to [email protected]. We'll check it against Adobe's documentation and update the page if it's wrong.

Other ways to reach us are on the contact page; advertising enquiries are covered on advertise with us.
